Thrustmaster Unveils the Heart Controller: A New Era of Precision Gaming Accessories
08-10-2024
A new entry in the gaming accessory market has arrived, promising significant enhancements for players. Thrustmaster has launched its latest creation, the Heart Controller. Compatible with Xbox and PC, this gamepad is designed with innovative Hall Effect thumbsticks and mechanical buttons that aim to elevate the gaming experience.
This controller places a strong emphasis on precision and durability. The term "Heart" serves as an acronym for Hall Effect AccuRate Technology, indicating that it utilizes advanced Hall Effect tech similar to that found in leading Xbox and PC controllers. Thrustmaster asserts that its extensive 15-year expertise in producing Hall Effect flight simulation peripherals translates into superior accuracy and reliability, ensuring that users will not experience drift over time.
Equipped with mechanical buttons featuring a 0.3mm actuation distance, this controller promises to respond 64% quicker than traditional membrane inputs. Additionally, being a wired device is likely to minimize input latency and keep costs down. Beyond its technical specifications, the Thrustmaster Heart Controller stands out with its striking two-tone black and white design, perfectly complementing the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.
A vivid LED strip divides the color scheme down the center of the controller, adding a stylish touch. Players can personalize the lighting, choosing from six colors, including orange, blue, and red. On the backside, two rear inputs can be remapped, providing flexibility for gamers. Through the ThrustmapperX software, users can adjust various settings, allowing them to customize thumbstick sensitivity and reprogram control schemes.
The Thrustmaster Heart Controller is designed to work seamlessly with PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. It is currently available for pre-order at a price of $99.99 / £89.99, with deliveries anticipated to start next month through Thrustmaster and Amazon.
