To celebrate the year’s end, Pokémon Go will launch a special Community Day event. It will feature more Pokémon than usual.

The year’s final Community Day event will last for two days: December 18 - 19. As it was reported, it will focus on 20 Pokémon at once this time.

Usually, Community Day in the game highlights a single Pokémon, whom you are invited to catch and train. Interestingly, the “stars of the show” will be borrowed from both 2020 and 2021 highlights.

Here’s how they will be showcased:

  • Saturday. Fletchling, Gible, Machop, Roselia, Snivy, and Swablu.
  • Sunday. Duskull, Eevee, Oshawott, Shinx, and Tepig.

Plus, with hatching 2km eggs, you can unlock such boyos as:

  • Charmander,
  • Weedle,
  • Abra,
  • Gastly,
  • Rhyhorn,
  • Magikarp,
  • Porygon,
  • Elekid,
  • Magby,
  • Seedot,
  • Piplup,
  • Budew.

Wild Pokémon will be variable for hunting on both days from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Local time). But catching ‘em all isn’t the only fun thing you get to do during the event.

You can also complete new Research Tasks. This will reward you with bonus points, materials, and trophy items to strengthen your team even more.

Research Tasks have their own schedule as well. They will include such activities as powering up your Pokémon 10 times, making 5 nice throws, catching 15 Pokémon featured in the Community Day, locating 10 Pinap berries, and so on.

Besides, your Pokémon get a chance to master rare moves while evolving during the event. To get the special moves, you need to max out the Poke-guy. It applies to:

  • Pokémon appearing in the wild.
  • The critters obtained through egg-hatching.

For example, Charizard can unlock Dragon Breath, Gengar will get Shadow Punch, Altaria can claim Moon Blast, and so on.

Hurry up to join the grandest event of the year in Pokémon Go. Which one of the featured Pokémon will you try to catch? Let us know in the comments!
