For a while, the Microsoft Outlook extension has been available only for Microsoft Edge. Now, the company has decided that it’s time to release the extension for Google Chrome, which is used by millions of people worldwide.

When you install the Outlook extension in your browser, you will immediately get access to all the tools connected to it. It will be possible to receive notifications when you get new mail, send and read letters, and otherwise manage your account. Users are able to create tasks, organize meetings, and such. This extension allows you to avoid having to open a separate tab and the entire user interface is extremely simple and uncluttered.

Just as stated in the description for the new extension, it ‘brings you the power of mail, calendar, contacts, and tasks using an icon in the browser.’ You can access all the information in your Outlook account or Hotmail account quickly and without having to open another app or tab. This will surely be valuable for users that often have many tabs open on their computers and they want to do all the tasks quickly.

At the moment, Microsoft hasn’t made an announcement regarding the release of the extension for Chrome, it is something that is only logical, considering that Microsoft Edge and Chrome use the same engine.

The experience of using this extension will be the same as that you get on Microsoft Edge. If you have previously used it, there shouldn’t be any surprises when it comes to its operation. The entire system is user-friendly and straightforward. Once you set up an account, all you have to do is click on the Outlook icon in the toolbar to see what is going on in your inbox.

Do you use Outlook in your day-to-day life? Will this extension be useful for you? Please, share your thoughts in the comments below.
