Netflix has announced exciting news for fans of The Witcher, stating that the series will draw to a close with its fifth season. This confirmation came through Tudum, the platform's dedicated news hub. Additionally, it was revealed that the forthcoming Season 4 and Season 5 will be produced simultaneously, with the production of Season 4 currently taking place in the UK.

What to Expect in the Final Seasons

The culmination of The Witcher series will adapt the last three novels by Andrzej Sapkowski: Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake. Showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has pledged an extraordinary and fulfilling ending to the saga.

Liam Hemsworth steps into the role of Geralt of Rivia, succeeding Henry Cavill who departed following Season 3. Additionally, Laurence Fishburne is slated to join the cast as Regis, a sage Barber-surgeon with a hidden backstory.
