Naruto Comes to Fortnite: Crossover Details

Naruto: Shippuden has come to Fortnite. Now you’ll be able to dress as a legendary ninja or put on a costume of one of his friends. 

The long-anticipated Naruto x Fortnite crossover is finally here. All in all, there’s a quartet of Naruto characters to play as:

• Sasuke Uchina.
• Sakura Haruno.
• Kakashi Hatake.
• Naruto Uzumaki himself.

Apart from the nostalgically tear-jerking skins, there are a few extra elements to complete the collab. One of them is the Karuma Glider, which allows parachuting on the battlefield with style and elegance.

There are two ways to obtain it. First, you can purchase it for 1,200 V-Bucks, which translates to roughly $16.

But if you’re a true hero at heart like Naruto, you can beat the Fortnite x Naruto Nindo challenge and get the glider for free. And if you’ve bought it before November 17, you still can beat the challenge and claim the V-bucks that you’ve spent.

The shinobi-themed update will also get some new emotes inspired by the anime. And your weapon arsenal will get the paper bombs with the infamous Baku inscription on them.

By the way, the Naruto characters won’t be just wearable skins. You’ll get to meet Kakashi in person on the game’s Island. You will have a few brief chats and Kakashi will assign you a number of side-quests to do. 

Another treat for the series fans will be the Naruto map. Available in a bunch of creative maps, it is almost a museum-like restoration of the Hidden Leaf Village. So, if you dreamt to explore it in 3D reality, Fortnite is your key to the ancient Shinobi settlement.

Fortnite has had a long-running series of collabs. We’ve seen guest appearances from the Star Wars, Infinity Gauntlet, Wreck-It-Ralph, Punk’d, Ghostbusters, and many others.
