Valorant Group Stage Kicks Off the Paris Tournament Excitement

The international tournament action has begun as participants enter one of the many competitions scheduled within the larger festival taking place in Paris next week. While the main event will host weekly matches for nearly two months, one competition is already creating early excitement.

The Valorant contest is currently in its group stage, with teams from two separate groups having played their initial matches. Early results offer a glimpse into the competitive spirit of the event.

Within the first group of matches, teams in Group A have demonstrated strong performances. One match saw 100 Thieves emerge victorious over Rex Regum Qeon with a clear 2-0 result, while another led to BBL Esports edging out EDward Gaming 2-1. In Group B, Team Vitality delivered an outstanding performance against Karmine Corp by finishing 2-0, and NRG secured a 2-1 win over Paper Rex.

The group format provides teams with a crucial path forward: securing two wins in their group grants them advancement to the playoffs, whereas accepting two losses results in elimination. Ultimately, each group will determine which two teams progress and which teams will be unseated.
