At the EVO event, SNK offered plenty to keep fans excited, from introducing a unique character in the anticipated Fatal Fury: City of Wolves to announcing fresh downloadable content for The King of Fighters 15 to unexpectedly launching SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos. However, it seems that SNK had more surprises up their sleeve as they revealed they were working on even more projects.

Producer Joshua Weatherford announced during SNK's panel at EVO, according to Gematsu, that they are currently developing two more games. The first one is a new addition to the Art of Fighting series, which has not seen a fresh release since 1996. Interestingly, this series exists in the same universe as Fatal Fury. The second game is an action-oriented role-playing game (RPG) projected to be a spinoff from the popular Samurai Shodown fighting franchise. Maintaining suspense, Weatherford hinted that the upcoming game was expected to surprise everyone.

According to Weatherford, SNK is in the process of recruiting additional staff to assist them in the creation of these games. From his statements, it seems that these projects are still in the preliminary stages of development and it may be some time before any additional substantial details can be shared or shown.

Restating the recruitment announcement, he expressed that if any fans of these franchises are seeking work in the game development sector, they should not hesitate to apply as they could contribute to these exciting projects.
