The highly anticipated Free Fire tournament at the Esports World Cup in Paris, France, is finally underway as the event sets off this afternoon, July 15. Top teams from around the globe have gathered to compete for their spots in either the Finals or the Survival Stage. In this opening phase, 24 teams aim to steer clear of being among the four squads that will be eliminated.

The initial group matches are scheduled to take place from July 15 to 16, followed by the Survival Stage on July 17. The tournament will wrap up on July 18 with the crowning of a champion, the presentation of the trophy, the allocation of a $1 million prize pool, and the announcement of the team that earns a World Series - Global Finals 2026 ticket. That final showdown is planned for November in Bangkok, Thailand.
