As the excitement builds for upcoming gaming projects, there's a lot of anticipation surrounding a new venture by Longdue Games. This studio, comprised of former members of the team behind the acclaimed game Disco Elysium, is set to launch a Kickstarter campaign for their next title, Hopetown. The campaign kicks off next Monday, and with so much history and talent backing it, gamers are eager to see what unfolds.

Longdue Games emerged recently, and since then, their ambitious project, Hopetown, has drawn attention. The team includes notable figures such as Lenval Brown, known for his role as the narrator in Disco Elysium, as well as Piotr Sobolewski, who served as the technical supervisor for the earlier game. Recently, Martin Luiga, the founder of ZA/UM and a writer responsible for several key characters in Disco Elysium, joined the team to contribute his expertise.

This new game, referred to as a "spiritual successor" to Disco Elysium, promises to delve into storytelling through psychological exploration and rich character development. The creators have introduced a concept they call Psychogeography, emphasizing the impact of your actions, relationships, and choices in Hopetown's world. Their belief is that your experiences will not just be remembered; they will be brought to life within the game.

As the launch date for the Kickstarter approaches, enthusiasts are left pondering what this novel adventure will entail. Scheduled for March 17, 2025, if you would like to contribute to this artistic endeavor endeavor, now is the time to prepare. Luiga has a message highlighting the importance of backing this project, emphasizing his commitment to building alongside both local Estonian talent and international developers.

He expresses his intention to foster an environment that aims for more than just a sequel to Disco Elysium. Instead, the goal is to explore new horizons in storytelling and gameplay. Luiga extends an invitation to RPG enthusiasts to join the initiative and help bring this visionary project to fruition.

Additionally, the launch will include the first glimpses of the game through an official screenshot and teaser trailer, igniting further interest among the gaming community.
