The recent success of Astro Bot has been nothing short of remarkable, garnering widespread admiration from fans. This game is essentially a heartfelt tribute to the rich tapestry of PlayStation's iconic franchises, celebrating the various consoles through its gameplay and design. Players encounter cherished figures like Aloy, Ratchet & Clank, Nathan Drake, Crash, Kratos, and many others throughout their journey.

One notable inclusion is Deacon St. John from Days Gone, who makes a cameo with his motorcycle. This appearance evidently stirred emotions in the game's director, John Garvin. Following a tweet from Bend Studios that showcased Deacon relaxing under a palm tree while two robotic puppies played nearby, conveying congratulations to Asobi Studio for the game's launch, Garvin expressed his disappointment. He found it disheartening that Deacon's role seems to have diminished to merely advertising other titles.

This comment led Bend Studios to promptly clarify their stance, ensuring that they take pride in the accomplishments of Days Gone, while also attempting to separate their current direction from the sentiments expressed by Garvin.
